Built from nothing:
            Rooted in purpose.

What started with very little more than determination, somewhat of a plan, a ton of hard work, and a willingness to figure things out has grown into The Parker Homestead—a life and collection of businesses built by hand, from the ground up.

Welcome

TO THE PARKER HOMESTEAD

What began as a family building a life on the land has grown into a collection of businesses centered around craftsmanship, creativity, self-sufficiency, and home.

The Parker Homestead brings all of our work together in one place—from construction and custom chicken coops to chicks, hatching eggs, garden goods, homemade foods, photography, artwork, and downloadable building plans.

We are builders, makers, growers, photographers, animal lovers, parents, and lifelong learners. Most of what you will find here comes directly from the life we live: building useful spaces, raising animals, growing food, preserving harvests, creating beautiful things, and helping other families do the same.

WHY CHOOSE US?

Family-Owned. Experience-Built.

The Parker Homestead is not a large company built around mass production. It is a family business built from years of hands-on experience. We use the same skills in our own daily lives that we offer to our customers. We build, repair, raise animals, hatch chicks, grow food, preserve harvests, photograph families, design projects, and solve problems as they arise. When you work with us or purchase something from our homestead, you are supporting a real family and the life we are continuing to build together.

What Matters to Us?

Quality
We believe things should be made carefully and built to serve a real purpose.

Honesty
We value straightforward communication, realistic expectations, and doing what we say we will do.

Functionality
Beautiful is important, but it also needs to work.

Creativity
We enjoy creating custom solutions instead of forcing every customer into the same design.

Family and Community
Our children are growing up alongside these businesses, learning responsibility, creativity, hard work, and the value of helping others.

The Family Behind the Homestead

We are the Parker family—a husband-and-wife team raising our children, building businesses, caring for animals, and creating a home rooted in hard work and a deep appreciation for country life.

Our days rarely fit into one category.

We may be working on a construction project, finishing a chicken coop, collecting eggs, checking an incubator, harvesting from the garden, making a batch of jelly, photographing a family, or sketching out the next building plan.

The Parker Homestead was created to bring all of those pieces together. This is more than a storefront. It is a look into the life we are building, the work we take pride in, and the things we hope to pass down to our children.
